Lod is a technique for loading a 3D model, it is a step that we consider crucial because it allows you to define the details of the cartography and the display mode. Managing the LOD properly allows for optimized map.

2️⃣​ How it works ?

Lod is therefore a technique allowing several 3D models to be loaded so that the final map in question is optimized. GTA5 LOD variation is categorized by: HD, LOD, SLOD1, SLOD2, SLOD3, SLOD4 (HD being the most detailed model). On some of our maps, for a question of optimization, the map will load according to the player's position on the map, where some MLOs load regardless of the player's position, some of our MLOs will load progressively in front of the player. The more he advances, the more details he discovers.
