🧰 Unstable map

Do you experience crashes when you approach one of our maps? You are in the right place to definitely solve your problems!

1️⃣ Things to know

First, it is important to locate how your map crashes (in what circumstances)? There are several methods for this:

1. If you no longer have crashes when you destart one/several maps.

2. If you have a persistent crash, despite the fact that you have tested whether each external resource on your server does not cause crashes themselves.

⚙️ Map Compatibility

In the case where you have a crash which no longer occurs when you destart one/several maps, this is therefore a compatibility problem. We have written a section of another issue that has the exact same resolution as your issue. You can therefore follow our "Object Appearance" post and follow the recommended steps to make your two maps compatible.

⚙️ Persistent crash

If you have a persistent crash despite the fact that you have deactivated each resource one by one and then tested if the problem does not come from here, the resolution can be found concretely in your report. Taking the attached report as an example, we can very clearly read the following error: "GTA5_b2699.exe!_addLodLights" which clearly means that a file of type Lodlight is causing a crash problem. To adjust it, it's very simple, your server is not compatible with this type of file modification, you just have to go inside the files of our map, then in the tab "YMAP", then "[MAP - Replace]" and delete the Lodlights files. If you want to make them functional for your server, we sincerely recommend that you follow our recommendations to no longer have this kind of problem.
